How we got here.
St. Cyr Contracting started in 2008, in the middle of a recession that wiped out half the contractors in Florida. We’re still here because we never built our business on being the cheapest. We built it on being the people you wanted in your home.
Mo St. Cyr founded the company with a simple commitment: do the work himself, do it well, and don’t sub out the things that matter. Eighteen years later, that’s still how every project runs. Mo personally designs and builds the custom cabinetry on every job. Not a contracted millworker. Not an off-site shop. Mo, in the workshop, building the cabinets that go in your home.
That’s unusual. Most general contractors hand off cabinetry to a third party because it’s faster and cheaper. The tradeoff is that the person installing your cabinets has never met the person who built them, and when something doesn’t fit right, you’re stuck in the middle. We took a different approach because we wanted the accountability that comes with one person being responsible from design through final install.
Lisa runs the office, manages the schedule, and is usually the first person you’ll talk to when you call. Between Mo on the build side and Lisa on the client side, you’re not getting passed around — you’re getting one of the owners.
One more thing worth mentioning: we source materials directly from manufacturers and industry-leading suppliers, cutting out the middlemen most contractors rely on. That means we can deliver the highest-grade materials at competitive prices, and pass those savings straight to you. It also means we know exactly where your cabinets, countertops, tile, and fixtures came from, and how to get replacements years down the road if you ever need them.
Over the past 17+ years, we’ve completed more than 250 projects across Central Florida. Kitchen and bathroom remodels. Whole-home renovations. Custom built-ins for closets, garages, laundry rooms, offices, lobbies, and break rooms. Commercial tenant buildouts. New construction. The work changes. The standard doesn’t.

Mo St. Cyr

Mo is the builder behind St. Cyr Contracting. A licensed Florida general contractor and certified cabinet maker with 17+ years of hands-on experience, Mo personally designs and builds the custom cabinetry on every project we take on. He’ll be the one walking your job site, answering your questions, and making the design calls. If you want to talk to the person actually building your project, you’ll be talking to Mo.
Lisa St. Cyr
Owner · Office Manager
Lisa runs the operations side of the business: client scheduling, project coordination, invoicing, and the dozens of details that make a renovation feel organized instead of chaotic. She’s also the voice on the other end of the phone when you call St. Cyr Contracting for the first time. If Mo is the builder, Lisa is the person who makes sure your project shows up on time, communicates clearly, and leaves you with paperwork you can actually find later.

Every custom cabinet, vanity, and built-in we install was designed and built by Mo personally. We use real wood, custom dimensions, and joinery that lasts. If you’ve ever opened a cabinet door and felt how a quality piece moves, you know what we mean.
