Countertop materials we install

We install a full range of countertop materials: quartz (engineered stone), granite, quartzite, marble, butcher block, concrete, and laminate for utility applications. Each material has different performance characteristics, maintenance requirements, and cost points.

We do not push one material over another we give you honest information about how each performs in a kitchen environment so you can make the right call for your household.

How we source countertops

We source direct from slab suppliers and fabricators rather than going through a showroom markup chain. That means you can visit the slab yard with us, select your actual slab, and know exactly where it came from.

For engineered materials like quartz, we work with local fabricators who cut and finish to our templates. In both cases, you are not paying for a showroom overhead layer you are getting the material at a price that reflects a direct supply relationship.

Templating and fabrication

After cabinets are set and leveled, we template the countertop run measuring the exact footprint, accounting for any variation in the wall, marking cutout locations for sinks and cooktops, and confirming edge profiles. That template goes to the fabricator who cuts the slab to spec.

When the slab comes back, we verify the dimensions before installation and do not set it until we are satisfied it is correct. If something is off from the fabricator, it goes back not onto your counters.

Sink cutouts and plumbing coordination

Most countertop installations involve a sink cutout and a plumbing reconnection. We handle the cutout as part of the countertop scope and coordinate the plumbing reconnection so you are not waiting days between when the counters go in and when the sink works.

For undermount sinks (the most common in our projects) we handle the mounting hardware and seal the joint between the sink and the stone.

What countertop installation costs in Central Florida

Countertop pricing depends on material, edge profile, linear footage, and number of cutouts. Quartz in Central Florida typically runs from mid-range to premium per square foot, depending on the collection. Natural stone varies by slab. Butcher block is typically lower cost.

We provide a fixed-price quote after templating the number you agree to is the number you pay, with no add-ons for the cutout or the seam.

Common Questions

Questions about countertop installation in Winter Garden

We install quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, butcher block, concrete, and laminate. We can walk you through the pros and cons of each material for your specific application during the estimate.

Yes. We handle the countertop installation including sink cutout, undermount sink mounting, and plumbing reconnection so you are not coordinating a separate plumber for the sink hookup.

The installation itself is typically a one-day job for a standard kitchen. The lead time from template to installation is usually 1–2 weeks depending on the fabricator and material availability.

Yes. Countertop replacement is a standalone service. We template, remove the existing tops, install new material, and reconnect the plumbing. If the existing cabinets are sound, you do not need to do anything else.

Yes. Concrete is poured and finished in place or cast off-site and installed. It offers a look that no manufactured material replicates and can be colored and sealed to your spec. We discuss the maintenance requirements honestly — concrete is not a set-and-forget surface.
